Planning Commission Minutes
On Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at 7:04 pm the Special Planning Commission Work
Session Meeting was called to order by Chairperson Eric Minks. Other members
present were John Roxbury, Jr., Carl Sanford, Greg McBroom, and John Moosbrugger.
Planning Commission members Tom Braun, and Larry Ziebarth were absent.
The purpose of the meeting was to review and discuss Princeton Townships'
Comprehensive Plan.
After much discussion, the main topics were as follows:
-contact the State demo office
-if the township wants to do a survey, they need to include
not only the Residential, but also the businesses, and contact some realtors
-how does the township want to define and keep the characteristic
of the township, as far as the agricultural and rural
-the commercial and industrial corridor, Hwy 169 and 95
-take an inventory of the townships' assets
-parks and trails
The Planning Commission decided to hold another special meeting after a training
course on Comprehensive Planning that some of the members will be attending
on May 3rd, 2006. A specific date had not been determined.
A Motion was made by John Roxbury, Jr., and seconded by Greg McBroom to adjourn
the meeting at 8:24 pm. Motion Carried.
