Report
A motion was made by John Roxbury, Jr. and seconded by= Eugene Stoeckel to approve the Financial Report for June 2009 as submitted. Beginning Balance of Township fund= s was $169,812.31; total receipts of $2,833.71; total disbursements of $12,309.56; leaving a balance of $160,336.46. Motion Carried.&nb= sp;

John Roxbury, Jr. stated that he would like the clerk = to check into seeing if one of the elected officials could take over the Treas= urer position, since splitting up the Clerk/Treasurer position no longer seemed = to be an issue.
John Roxbury, Jr. motioned to amend the agenda to addr= ess appointing Connie Wubben as the Acting Clerk/ Treasurer. Eugene Stoeckel seconded the motion. Motion Carried.
John Roxbury, Jr. motioned to make Connie Wubben Acting Clerk/ Treasurer for the next month until the next board meeting, at which = time it can be made permanent, with a full board present. Eugene Stoeckel second= ed the motion. Motion Carried.
Greg Anderson tabled the Comprehensive Plan discussion= until next month when all the board members could be present.

A motion was made by John Roxbury, Jr. and seconded by Eugene Stoeckel to approve the town hall payme= nt to US Bank in the amount of $10,750.00. Motion Carried.
Jeff from Long Siding Bar= & Grill was present to request approval for an outside event. He stated that = he had already met with Loren Kohnen and Todd McLouth and they saw no problem = with it. He had also already let all of the neighbors in the area know about the event. A motion was made by John Roxbury, Jr. and seconded by Eugene Stoeck= el to approve Long Siding Bar & Grill’s request for an outside event. Motion Carried.
A motion was made by Euge= ne Stoeckel and seconded by John Roxbury, Jr. to approve payment to KAB Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of $41,439.00. Motion Carried.
A motion was made by Euge= ne Stoeckel and seconded by John Roxbury, Jr. to approve payment to JL Jordan = in the amount of $10,496.74. Motion Carried.

Open Forum=
Larry Ziebarth stated tha= t since the Cross of Life Church has cut down a lot of pine trees around their secu= rity light it is very bright and distracting as far as Hwy 95. He wanted to know= if they could put up a shield on the south side of the light. Greg Anderson informed the clerk to write a letter to let them know that they need to adj= ust the light.
